Work needed on new target device/platform.

Hello everyone,

As described in the new page on target devices and platforms in the docs folder, there are many possible targets. But who's working on any of them right now?

More importantly, is anyone working on the intended targets?

Hi guys, I have some devices and I want try to compile for them, actually I have:

• Flame
• Alcatel One Touch Fire
• Alcatel One Touch Fire C
• ZTE Open
• Keon
• Peak
• Z3C
• InFocus Tablet

I know some devices will not work but I can try :') , un this moment I'm trying with the flame.

That's great news! As you know, it's not what Fabrice would like us to work on but it's still fun! You've got a lot of Firefox OS devices there, it would be great to get Servonk working on at least one of them.

FYI, building for Z3C is fairly easy and already works, maybe you can try that first so you know what success looks like. I think the others will take some work, you may need to fork and mod some servo repos to succeed.

Maybe you can open an issue for each new device you're working on, starting with the flame, so you can post updates and problems you're finding?

Yeah, I know, I was trying with the Flame because #WeLoveFlame<3 haha but now I'll try with the Z3C, indeed I'm just trying to know how it looks like in a first approach.

About the other devices, maybe I'll only work on the Flame, but I dont know, I want to bring servonk on firefoxos-based-devices, but as you said, it will need a lor of work ;@

Any way, if I get another (more) useful device I'll tell to you, by now just the Z3C and the Flame (on my side).

Note that @novski in Telegram has built Servonk on macOS with Glutin. I don't know if it's confirmed running yet.

There was also a suggestion of targetting the Raspberry Pi using Glutin (not Gonk, although a Gonk port does exist).
