Installation hangs on "llvm" dependency while installing watchman with Homebrew

Hi... can someone help me with the following? I'm trying to install watchman on my Mac (macOS Big Sur 11.7.10). Running "brew install watchman", the process stalls at the following step:

==> Installing watchman dependency: llvm
==> cmake -G Ninja .. -DLLVM_ENABLE_PROJECTS=clang;clang-tools-extra;lld;mlir;polly;lldb -DLLVM_ENABLE_RUNTIMES=compiler-rt;libcxx;libcxxabi;libunwind;openmp -DLLVM_POLLY_LINK_INTO_TOOLS=ON -DLLVM_BUILD_EXTERNAL_COMPILER_RT=ON -DLLVM_L
==> cmake --build .

It doesn't progress beyond that point...

Please were you able to fix this watchman installation error yet? I am using Mac Catalina 10.15.5 and this is the same error I am getting. Please help if you have been able to fix this. I was stuck there too.

LLVM finished installing after 8 hours, but now it seems like other dependencies are being downloaded, and it feels like it's going to take forever...

One possible solution is upgrade macOS to any of Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia.

It will never finish. My aim was to use the laptop macbook pro catalina to deploy a mobile application I developed so that I can ship it to Apple Store. While installing my software dependencies on the MacBook Pro Catalina, it requires that I install Facebook Watchman so that my development environment and testing can be possible, I tried all I could to see how this can be possible without upgrading the MacBook Pro Catalina because Catalina 10 is the last Mac OS that the MacBook Pro can allow so installing Monterey or updated Mac OS is not possible, I tried all I could and tried different libraries so that I can get the "llvm" dependencies error resolved but all efforts proved abortive. It was so sad that I had to result back to Windows OS and it's sadden that I can't build iOS version of my app even till now until I can get updated version of MacOS. Has anyone gotten this resolved yet?
