I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Fred passed away in March.
I have built and used a few of these boards. I think what you want would be possible, but I don’t have the time to look into this right away, and I haven’t done any PCB design myself (at least have not had any of my experimentations produced and tested). I do have a friend with PCB design experience that I can ask for assistance after he finishes a couple of projects he is almost ready to send to production. I will post back here if I come across a solution.
Would it be possible to add a temperaure sensor to stop charing the battery on below 0 °C ?
