<p>At Faith and Family ELC, we strive to meet the needs of the whole child in all developmental domains: the spiritual,
mental, physical, emotional, and social. Our staff works diligently to create an environment that is safe and
welcoming for all children.</p>

<h2> About Us </h2>
<p>Faith and Family Early Learning Center is a locally owned and operated childcare center. We are a state licensed childcare
facility and we operate off of the state minimum standards.The staff at Faith & Family Early Learning Center cares for and
teaches young children in a safe and Christian based environment. </p>
<h2>Our Philosophy:</h2>
<p>At Faith & Family, it is our belief that the word discipline means to teach or to train. In an effort to teach children to change their own inappropriate behavior, we will do everything we can to be effective, reasonable, and compassionate in every aspect of this ministry. Our goal is to teach the child to change his or her behavior to help them grow and develop. </p>
<h2>Staff Requirements:</h2>
<p>All staff members are required to have a background check and fingerprinting done prior to being hired at our facility.
Our staff is also required to do annual training including, but not limited to: SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome,
Early Childhood Brain Development and CPR/First Aid. They are also required to attend monthly staff meetings
where we take time to discuss professional growth and how we can better care for the children and families in
attendance at our facility. </p>
<h2>General Information:</h2>
<p>At Faith and Family ELC parents are responsible for providing breakfast and lunch for your child.
We provide two snacks each day (morning and afternoon), our snack calendar is in our monthly newsletter. </p>
<h2 id="anchor1">Center Closures:</h2>
<p>We close several holidays throughout the year to give our staff and families a break.
This helps our staff to stay encouraged and better care for your children. <br></p>
<p>We are committed to keeping our employees and families safe.
This means if emergency situations arise, including but not limited to severe weather,
our administrative team has the right to close the center.</p>
