FastURL is a Chrome extension designed to fetch web content and convert it to Markdown format. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

Data Collection and Usage

FastURL does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

  1. Clipboard Data:

    • We only access clipboard data when you actively use the extension
    • Clipboard content is processed locally and never sent to any servers
    • No clipboard data is stored after processing
  2. Web Content:

    • URLs and webpage content are processed entirely locally
    • No browsing history or web content is collected or stored
    • No data is sent to external servers

Permissions

The extension requires certain permissions to function:

  1. Clipboard Access:

    • Used only to read URLs and write converted content
    • Activated only when you use the keyboard shortcut
  2. Tab Access:

    • Used to process content in the current tab
    • No tab history or navigation data is collected
  3. Notifications:
