Implement the collapsible feature of a Panel layout in a traditional table.

Can it be implement a collapsible feature for a specific column while maintaining a traditional table layout and displaying header information?
I usually have some big text to show,but the colunm in traditional table is too narraw.
so I think this idea is fine
