I want a Monochrome icon option since the PWAsForFirefox toolbar button in my main Firefox window isn't fitting my Pink-coloured theme. But also, because many other software already have these options as standard.
I mean the toolbar button in the main Firefox window (from which the PWAsForFirefox extension operates) and not the PWA windows.
Proposed Solution
I propose adding these options to icon settings:
Regular,
Dark,
Light,
System default,
Black.
The "regular" option would be the actual coloured icon and it would be turned on by default. The "dark" option would be white-coloured, so it will fit into dark themes. The "light" option would be grey-coloured, so it will fit into light themes. The System default will automatically choose either Dark or Light depending on which theme the user has.
You should also add a "Black" option, because it would better fit into light themes in which the grey is not fitting.

I can try to implement this in the future. But I think you can also already change extension icons yourself with custom CSS. I'm not sure how exactly to do it, but you can probably find something here.
But also, because many other software already have these options as standard.
Are there any major Firefox extensions that support this, or do you mean software/apps in general?

I meant apps in general. For example, qBittorrent supports the monochrome icon function, but there are tens or hundreds of apps supporting this function because it is standard for better accessibility with modern design trends.

Additional Information
Here's a link to my pink theme I several times mentioned: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rosa-pink/
Thanks for any response in advance! Have a very nice day.
