  • @noahtalerman: User requested this because they need a way to deploy Fleet Desktop to an existing host that already has fleetd installed, enabling users to install special software.
    • @noahtalerman: In the interim they may need to manually guide the user through installation or run a custom script.
    • @noahtalerman: Eventually Fleet should provide a method to push and install Fleet Desktop on a host that already has fleetd, simplifying the process for IT service desk reps.

Goal

User story
As an IT service desk rep,
I want to push Fleet Desktop to a user's machine (the host already has fleetd w/o Desktop)
so that they can install some special software.
