The latest version is not currently available on the website.

I guess this is done? Or is the issue rather to provide the doc for the latest release in pdf also (not just dev)

This should be done automatically in the future (currently, I believe this is a bug, but that is discussed in #2175). Some versions are missing files, but it should be pretty complete, at least on the 3.X series for minor versions.
