I dont know if this is out of scope for the app, but the current player doesn't support m3u playlists yet. See google/ExoPlayer#4066

Try to change the player....... if you gave access for m3u then the app will become universal

Uh, it's not as easy as it sounds. Gonna be a hell of a migration/refactors on my end. Def will consider this request in the future.
