Is this project still alive?

Is this project alive and maintained? The last published version on npm is from 3 years ago and the readme has been saying that the project is looking for maintainers for a long time, will a new version be published on npm anytime soon? What's the future of this library?
I use fluent-ffmpeg for a lot of projects I'd rather not see it die

I'm wondering this as well. There seem to be some PRs merged since the last NPM version bump. Very few replies to issues from the maintainers.

Well we're lacking maintainers (see #755). It looks like very few people are ready to take over. I personally no longer use fluent-ffmpeg so it does not make sense reviewing, merging, testing and releasing stuff for me.

Considering that this project has been looking for maintainers since 2017 I'm gonna go ahead and close this issue
