Description of bug

The Multiplayer and Minecraft Realms buttons have turned black, become inaccessible, and are showing the "Multiplayer is disabled, please check your Microsoft account settings." message. I'm in offline mode in PollyMC, This bug only occurs in Minecraft versions 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
My latest.log on 1.16.5

Steps to reproduce

  • Use an offline mode profile.
  • Install and launch Minecraft 1.16.5 or 1.16.4 with no modloader. Make sure you have an internet connection.
  • After the launch, the Multiplayer and Minecraft Realms buttons are black and inaccesible in the menu, and are showing the "Multiplayer is disabled, please check your Microsoft account settings." message.

Suspected cause

Maybe this is happening due to the Mojang authentication servers trying to recognize an offline mode account specifically on 1.16.4-1.16.5.

I mentioned a workaround here, can you see if that works for you?
