Wind and frost probability are useful information to have for observations.

Pulling additional information is non-trivial because of the inconsistent variable names. For example, the NOMADS user guide and this table suggested that UGRD and VGRD are the u- and v- components of the wind. However, this database suggests that UGRD is the wind gradient.

Also, even after updating the URL and download the UGRD and VGRD, it is unclear what "name" or "shortName" to use to get the wind information from the grib file.

I'll send an email to the dataproducts team about this and the multiple GFS coordinates for partial http requests today.

@rndsrc UGRD and VGRD are the east-west component and north-south component of the wind respectively.
So, combining those two parameters would give us the speed and direction of the wind if we take neighboring grids into account
I am experimenting with scraping those parameters now and will update this shortly.
