Currently, if a token has the spell effect See The Unseen (previously See Invisibility), they can see tokens that are invisible with a glowing border. However, they can also see a token like this if this token is in an area of darkness and they (the observer) do not have darkvision. I believe this is incorrect since the See The Unseen spell text is "You can see invisible creatures as though they weren't invisible" - and a non-invisible creature in darkness is still obscured to you if you do not have darkvision.

Reproduction steps:

  • Set up a scene with an area of darkness (for example out of range of a lightsource)
  • Add one token in the darkness area with the condition "Invisible"
  • Add one token in the light area with the spell effect "See The Unseen" and select it
  • Observe that the invisible token is visible, when instead it should have the Hidden effect
