Hello, let me express my love and appreciation for this add-on first.
However, I’ve encountered an issue while using the checker map. I'm currently on Blender 3.6, and when I try to switch the resolution of the checker map, it doesn't update—it remains fixed at the default resolution, the reload bottom is not working either.
I found someone on Reddit with the same issue, but they haven't found a solution yet. Seems like the checker map works fine for Blender before 3.6.

I've answered this many times (#230, #222, #216, #202, #187). It is clear that we need to have our own, updated documentation, separated from the page of @renderhjs, which I can't edit myself to clarify the new behaviour of the Checker Map tool. But, as you can see, there is already a number of open issues to tackle before of that.
I changed the Checker Map tool because of #44, basically. The overall redesign was done in this commit: 2c5d574. And since 12e501a, you can control the scale of the checker map with the per objectTiling custom property, which you can access in the TexTools panel as shown in the image below (the viewport should be in Material Preview or Rendered mode):
I'll let this open for reference until we have a proper documentation for the addon in place.
