Requesting Docker container #3
Comments
Hi Gurado, thanks for your comment and your suggestion. A Docker seems a nice idea. We will plan in a future version to introduce something like this to reduce the user time for the installation. Francesco |
Hi Francesco, |
Dear Laure,
we didn't implemented that yet. I know the installation procedure is an obstacle sometime and the docker image could be a good idea to fill the gap. We were planning to make an update this spring.
Do you know if anyone can add tools in Galaxy ? They should have their own API for that.
Thanks for the suggestion,
Best regards,
Francesco

Hi Francesco,
did you create a docker image for annocript ? The annocript installation process is not compatible with my company's system architecture complexity... But we are really interested to test your tool !
It would also be a good idea to work on a galaxy wrapper solution.
Regards,
Laure

Francesco,
Anyone can add tools to Galaxy, just have to implement the wrapper with
planemo.
I'll wait for your update and your docker image.

Hi,
Annocript looks like a great tool but the effort to get everything installed it is substantial. It would be great if you could provide a Docker container or a VM. That would certainly reduce the barrier for your peers give it a try.
Cheers!
