I would like to have the option to make Dash work in the default way on GNOME, without minimizing when a window is open. I would like it so that when an icon is clicked, the same action as the default shell occurs.
In the default dash, when we click on an app that has no instances open, the app opens. If the app is already open, even in another workspace, it is selected.
Another configuration that would be interesting in this dash is the option to choose whether a click on an open app selects it or creates a new instance. The Launch new instance extension is quite popular and comes bundled with Fedora.

In summary, I would like to have three configuration options:

Minimize already open app (as it currently functions).
Open the app; if it is already open, bring it into focus (default GNOME behavior).
Open a new instance, similar to the Launch new instance extension.
