Desktop App is not launching on Mac OS #418
Comments
Hi, Yes we've checked it, and it's there neither. It also won't show up when we check the 'Force Quit' tab, where we can see al the apps that are running atm, so it looks like the app is unable to launch. We have now installed an older version (3.10.0) and this seems to do the trick. |
What was the first version that you ever installed on this machine? It may happen that it is not able to load the configuration file, since it changed over the different versions. |
The original install was the 4.5.1.dmg version, the one that get's download by clicking Download Intel (old). Could it be that MacOS Monterey Version 12.5.1 is to outdated to run it? For now the older download works fine so i'd prefer using that one, if you do not foresee other issues with using an older version. |
That may be the cause of the issue. You can use any combination of versions as you want, only the new features won't work properly 😉 |
Hi,
I have installed the barcode to pc app on both my desktop and mobile device. On mobile it works without a problem, although on my Mac it does not launch. Also, my system does say it is running when i try to delete the app, but i cannot 'Force Quit' it, because it is not in the list of running apps.
I have downloaded the latest install from the website for Mac (Intel version), and i am trying to run it on a 2017 iMac with Intel Core i5 an MacOS Monterrey.
Does someone know how to solve this problem?
Kind regards,
Nick
