Hi @condoghost, I'm gonna give you a list of things you can try to fix your problem.

Disable "Run as Administrator" in Properties:

  • Right-click on the FXSound.exe or the desktop icon and select Properties.
  • Go to the Compatibility tab.
  • Uncheck "Run this program as an administrator".
  • Click Apply and then OK.

Change App Permissions:

  • Navigate to the installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\FXSound or similar).
  • Right-click on FXSound.exe, go to Properties > Security tab.
  • Click Edit, select your user account, and ensure it has Full Control permissions.
  • Click Apply and OK.

Disable Compatibility Mode:

  • In the same Compatibility tab, make sure "Run this program in compatibility mode" is unchecked.

Check Windows UAC Settings:

  • Type "UAC" in the search bar and select Change User Account Control settings.
  • Set it to Notify me only when apps try to make changes (second option from the top).

I have installed same version and I cant reproduce your problem.
I use Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2.
Maybe your windows installation is corrupted or something wrong with it, like I had with other version of 24H2.

Much obliged to you brxndonnn and SirSac

Solved > I uninstalled app then reinstalled it again. Might have been caused by a Windows 11 update and reboot.

All fine now. Thank-you.
