FX does not appear in my Sound Settings as a selection, and after running the setup.exe file, I never get a notice that it installed so I downloaded the 64 bit Windows version of FXDIAG.exe and tried to run it from an elevated Command Prompt. An error message suggested I use the argument, my parentheses, {Suggestion [3,General]: The command fxdiag.exe was not found, but does exist in the current location. Windows PowerShell does not load commands from the current location by default. If you trust this command, instead type: ".\fxdiag.exe".} I typed everything including the quotes. Nothing happens. What to do?

Thanks for reporting this issue! Here are a few steps to try:
Ensure you’re in the correct directory where FXdiag.exe is located before running the command. Use cd to navigate to the directory in Command Prompt or PowerShell.
Run the command as .\fxdiag.exe in PowerShell or fxdiag.exe in Command Prompt (no quotes required unless spaces exist in the path).
Verify that the file isn’t blocked by right-clicking it, selecting Properties, and checking for an "Unblock" option.

Let me know if this resolves the issue!
