getting the above error when compiling from newest source on github. Windows line markers are the cause. I had to edit config.* files and save as unix style document as well as all modules in /src (which I used dos2unix utility to fix)

Those should already be using Unix EOL. I am confused...

There is no such problem in Pentoo where we compile it from the source all the time.

Do you maybe use a Microsoft Proxya or so?
I never had such issues on BSD/Gnu Debian no matter what OS was used with git or wget to fetch the *tgz.

Do you still face those issues?
