What a useful tool! Any way it can be edited so that it can download all registries of a given town? Or, upon entering the town, it displays all registries available and you can select which to download? I research many towns and would like to download all registries for them, but having to input and download each registry one at a time is very time consuming.

It's not easy at all, especially because there is no database of towns. Portale Antenati only provides a way to search by località, but the name of the town can also be in the Archive name (try with Firenze). Even if you enter a smaller town with no associated archive, like Montalcino, you'll find something like 901 archives.

That's definitely too much for me, I'm sorry. I'm not sure, but your IP might end up on a blacklist for some time if you try to download so much data from the website.
