before_send still send exceptions which is ignored

I have the same problem with my project. I ignore some custom exceptions and don't want to send them to the sentry and also have not used capture_message in my code, but it is still sent.
Here is my before_send method:

@antonpirker if it provides any helpful context, OP is having another problem between stages behaving differently

In the other discussion @emadimehrdad you mention issues are appearing on both stages. Is this problem occuring on both as well?

Maybe debug:true might provide some insights here as well

When looking at the init call some remarks:

• with_locals was deprecated and renamed to include_local_variables (should still work though)
• Setting server_name to an empty string is unusual. But I guess this works and is not the problem.

So I guess the solution that @smeubank suggested could bring us forward: set debug=True in the init on staging and paste the log output here, maybe we see something.

I added debug=True to my init function and SENTRY_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUG to my environment. In my local environment, I get some logs like this:

There is nothing about my transactions and errors. But I can see my errors on the Issues tab. the Performance does not record anything like my transactions.
