To prepare the support of proteomics submissions into GHGA the metadata schema should be able to handle raw mass spectrometry research data with the common file extensions.
Popular instruments providers use ".raw" or ".d" format. For a full list see: See: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pride/markdownpage/pridefileformats
Further, "Proteomics" should be reflected as possible dataset type and added to the controlled vocabulary.
