Hello,
I just discover that you publish the list of tags used by your fork in a format compatible with taginfo https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/projects/osm_carto_de
Where is the program that creates the filehttps://raw.githubusercontent.com/giggls/openstreetmap-carto-de/master/views_osmde/taginfo.json ?
could you propose it upstream so that they and the different forks too can list the tags used.

generate_taginfo.py in the same directory.

As taginfo.json is generated out of the views I'm using for rendering it can not be applied upstream which does not use views but plain tables.

This is far from perfect anyway, as it does not consider tag values, just keys.

you see to export somes values like https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/highway=motorway#projects

Phyks was able to do the same for the tag with a style derived from osm-carto without table.
i'll propose it to other styles and hope that someone extend it to also have all values.
