More information about Giotto-TDA Mapper algorithm #662

Dear Minjoo Kim,
I am afraid I will need help or clarification for this question. As described in the four steps here, the vertices (nodes) in the graph returned by Mapper are clusters (the result of clustering on each of the pull-back covers). Hence, one cluster is one node and contains at least one, usually many, datapoints. The indices of those datapoints can be retrieved as shown in this section. Please let me know if that helps with your question. |

Dear Umberto Lupo and Wojciech Reise,
I hope you are doing well.
Firstly, I really appreciate your work on the Giotto TDA. I am using Giotto TDA Mapper tool currently for my research, and I want to know whether if it is possible to know more information about the cluster of nodes. Currently, it is only possible to know node size in one cluster (ie how many nodes there are within one cluster node). So, would it be possible to know any other further information about the clusters (which nodes they contain)?
Thank you for your help.
Best wishes,
Minjoo KIM
