Currently the generated Google Maps URL does nothing on the Android Google Maps app.
You click it and it continues to display your current location - doesn't even move the map. Neither does clicking the geo: link.
Current URL is generated according to this spec: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/urls/get-started
I need input from users here - do you know an URL format which actually opens Google Maps and puts a pin at your location?
