@ntessore and I talked about this but I didn't see an issue on it.

When 2 or more graphics cards are present only one is used, but this could be changed.

This definitely seems possible. A overview I found helpful is here: https://www.cvg.ethz.ch/teaching/2011spring/gpgpu/GPU-multi-device.pdf

As usual, the hardest part will be the splitting of the pixels to be worked on by each device, especially if a PSF is present. But it seems doable.
