We should make sure that we deal nicely with not being able to connect to OpenSpace (for example if it isn't open yet). One idea would be to add a 'connect/disconnect' button inside the viewer window under the logo. If the connection to OpenSpace fails, we could add a concise warning to the viewer window and add the ability to then explicitly connect once OpenSpace is open.
