When users are added to or removed from an ongoing rotation, that can change other users' future oncall shifts. It'd be helpful to notify anyone affected by the schedule update, like by posting to the Slack channel for the oncall schedule.
The main pain point is that users might not know if they need to request schedule swaps. For example, suppose I'm oncall in a month, and then on PTO the week after. If a new teammate is inserted into the rotation, that would push my oncall shift back to conflict with the PTO. However, without a notification, I won't notice this until it's too late to request a swap.
