In this lesson attendees will learn the following:

  • What makes a successful open source community as opposed to a project or prototype
  • Talk about the requirements and best practices to make your open source project more amenable to external contributors.
  • This module also focuses on “intangible” elements of open source communities
    • How to develop empathy for your users and co-contributors
    • How to get involved in other open source communities and projects!
