  • Working towards become a DPG (Digital Project for Good) status
  • Website is updating Citizen Engagement and CoP pages
  • Brainstormed what to include in CoP lead profile
  • Discussed updates on the transition

  • Bonnie @ExperimentsInHonesty to write up a blog on the connection between SDGs, funding, and what the CoPs need to do (figure out which goal their community is most aligned to)

    • We have officially sent our request to separate from Code for America
    • We are entering our 2nd Decade
    • We are partnering with GitHub to share Zoom expenses
  • Will be adding CoP lead into to website
  • Want to start including finished projects in wikis, may take some serious digging
  • Can show progress on SDG 4.4 by showing volunteers moving through the skills matrix during their time with us

  • UI/UX CoP: Recruit and have Co-Leads for specialised areas of the CoP - example: conducting Workshops, recruiting guest speakers, onboarding etc. [To maintain a constant pipeline of members in the Co-Leads team. If the duties are more spread out, it maybe easier to recruit for more Co-Leads with specialised duties.]

    • Engineering: Tested out new Interview questions model on Slack. Good response but messy Slack. May move this to FigJam/other collaborative board to have a record of interview questions - a living document wherein responses can be added by present & future CoP members
    • Dev Ops: Steady stream of members, recruiting a PM to better manage the activities of the DevOps CoP - Create an open Card
    • Product Management: Two new CoP Co-leads have been recruited & will be leading the next CoP Meeting
    • UI/UX: Had guest speaker, game nights for interactive sessions, data collection for retaining veteran members of UX CoP
