The UX Design team is focused on understanding the needs and values of our users to create a usable, meaningful, and accessible product. We are responsible for all aspects of the Expunge Assist website's development, including usability, visual design, and accessibility. Our work touches on all points of the end-to-end user journey and user interactions, thus we value cross-collaboration with teams to better improve our work.
The Expunge Assist website is on the verge of a significant milestone, as we prepare to launch the beta version. Our primary focus is on refining the letter generator feature to ensure a seamless and beneficial user experience for our target audience. This entails meticulous attention to detail to guarantee usability and effectiveness. Our overarching goal is to provide a website that not only assists users in generating expungement letters but also offers a user-friendly platform for accessing crucial information and resources.
After the website launches, we will partner with our UX Research team to assess areas of improvement.
The UX Design team works closely with other teams under the Expunge Assist project to develop holistic and feasible solutions. One way we promote cross-collaboration is by meeting with our own team and others on a weekly basis. As a UX Designer, we highly encourage you to attend our weekly meetings:
- Wednesdays from 5pm-6pm PST: Design Team Meeting
- Fridays from 9:30am-10:30am PST: Content and Design Sync
- Additional meeting schedule can be found at the Team Weekly Monthly Meeting WIki Page
If you are unable to attend any of these meetings, please notify the Design Leads and PM.
