The foundation of Eldoria's gameplay revolves around effective resource management, building construction, and unit creation. This task focuses on establishing these essential mechanics, providing the basic interaction layer for players to engage with the game world.

Objective

Develop and implement the core gameplay mechanics that allow players to gather resources, construct buildings, and train units. This forms the base of player interaction with the game world and sets the stage for more complex systems.

Subtasks

Development Considerations

  • Scalability: Ensure the systems designed are easily scalable, allowing for the addition of new resources, buildings, and unit types in future updates.
  • User Experience: Focus on creating intuitive interfaces and interactions for resource management, building, and unit training to ensure a smooth player experience.
  • Feedback Loop: Incorporate mechanisms for early player feedback on these core mechanics, allowing for iterative improvements even within the MVP phase.
