Allow Pinning a Frontend to an Ingress

I am encountering a situation where I need to handle two types of connections (TLS and mTLS) within the same controller. The current documentation does not seem to cover this use case. While I see the ability to create a custom backend and pin it to a service, there is no information on how to achieve this for the frontend. Did I miss something in the documentation?
