Boundary Desktop - Mac error - Apple could not verify Boundary is free of malware #2689

Describe the bug
Mac blocks Boundary Desktop application to be open. It was working before but fails with latest version

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install boundary using either homebrew or manually download and install from release page
  2. When opening Boundary Desktop, Mac throws error Apple couldn't verify Boundary is free from malware and unable to open the app anymore

Hi @logamanig,

Thank you for reporting this and we are looking into this issue. Could you let us know if you are using a Mac with an Intel chip or silicon?

edit: Could you also send us what macOS version you are currently on please?

Hi @cameronperera , It's Mac with Apple Silicon. M1 Chip.

Mac version: 15.3.1
