Maybe I don't see it, but it seems it is not possible to automatically sort entries.

Would it make sense to implement a feature that sorts by emitter?

It doesn't currently support automatic sorting. And yea I will consider automatic sorting by issuer or account. But once auto sorting is used, the previous manual sorting or by recency will be overridden.

Any updates on this? It's really annoying with large lists.

Both sorting options by issuer and account make sense and are really a requirement with large lists. Maybe manual sorting makes sense too. But currently i only used it to manually sort by issuer because of the missing sorting option.

Not sure if I should ask it here or in the upstream project (where there's also a discussion about sorting), but I want to sort the most recently used items by recency.

Sorting the entire list by recency is definitely not recommended, as older items get lost in the (apparently unsorted) noise. I suggest showing only the N most recent items on top, and the rest default, either alphabetically or manual ordering. N can be e.g., 5, or perhaps a configurable amount. When normal ordering is 'manual', and recency is enabled, there will be some challenges, like how to move an entry that happens to be a recent entry. I imagine an 'edit' mode separate from the list mode.
