Jetty 9 Doesn't Start

This cookbook currently installs Jetty 9 and finishes without error, but Jetty 9 doesn't start successfully.

what OS are you running it on? are you running it as the jetty user?

It's Ubuntu 14.04. It was just using the default cookbook settings, so whatever user it was set to use.

this was my problem in centos - its probably the same issue.

As a test, If you change the jetty users shell from /bin/false to /bin/bash it will probably work
