Chicken cleanup to fix chicken proliferation #3

If the app gets tested heavily, a lot of chickens appear, and then some proportion tend to stay near where they spawned. This makes a mess of the world. The chickens should disappear, either when the request is completed (too quick?) or after a timeout.
