Right now the primary way to control the Music app with HA is to use the iTunes integration and install an iTunes-api server that has to stay running.
It would be great it the HA Mac app were to take the place of this. It could easily pull the data in and present it as entities for HA to use.
One other thing that would be nice is if the Mac app were able to be configured to automatically open at startup, and/or run in the background (and automatically restore when needed via launchd).
