Capsule update for ARM based HW (generic-aarch64)

There is A/B mechanism for rootfs and update via Rauc. Our HW has also capability for firmware update. We are using the latest U-Boot which has all options enabled and generating capsules is easy. Is there a mechanism which can be used for update?
I would be good to have fwupdtool install in rootfs but also it should be enough to have a way (script) which can put firmware capsule to ESP partition (/mnt/data/EFI/UpdateCapsule). And after reboot new firmware will be flashed.

It could be handled in the RAUC update hook, see buildroot-external/ota/rauc-hook. If a new type of hook is added, also adjacent manifest.raucm.gtpl would have to be updated.
