I've tried using one of those cheap generic CF to IDE adaotors and multiple different CF cards I've had zero success with any of them. I did this before I started looking too deeply at what the SP-808 was expecting from the storage device, and I now know why this wouldn't work.
But should you see the same BS in various forums about people havig success with this specific CF card or that specific CF card, i can tell you here and now, its BS, it wont work, it never worked and those people were/are full of it.
