Syllabus(extra):

  • enumeration

Things to prepare:

  • any working C language IDE (e.g. esclipes,orwell dev-c++,etc)
  • your notebook computer & charger

Deadline of homework:

  • email to any tutor before your tutorial 1 section begins

Tutorial 1 - GPIO

Syllabus(basic):

  • Fundamental Program Structure
  • GPIO Config & i/o
  • LED control
  • Pneumatic control
  • Button
  • Software debouncing
  • Buzzer

Syllabus(extra):

  • GPIO Mode
  • EXTI & NVIC

Things to prepare:

  • download Keil
  • download STM Flash Loader
  • ensure your notebook has a functional usb port / usb convertor
  • your notebook & charger

Deadline of homework:

  • demonstrate with a main board to a software tutor @ lab3007 CYT before your tutorial 2 section begins

Tutorial 2 - Timers & PWM

Syllabus

  • Introduction to PWM signals
  • STM32 timer configuration
  • Servo PWM control
  • Motor PWM control

Things to prepare:

  • Notebook & charger
  • Ensure your notebook has a functional USB port / USB converter

Homework:

  • Demonstrate to a software tutor at CYT3007B within one week after your tutorial session

Tutorial 3 - UART

Syllabus

  • UART in STM32F1
  • UART in Windows
  • Bluetooth

Things to prepare:

  • Notebook & charger
  • Install CoolTerm
  • Ensure your notebook has a functional bluetooth module and driver.
