Gmapping

Dear Sir

I am using your package to create a map using pepper but when i executed gmapping and opening rviz there is no map topic published so if you can help me with steps how can i use your package to create a map using pepper.

Is this question still up to date and unsolved yet? Are you sure you've set all the parameters correctly for gmapping? I mean the odom, laser scan, and base topics. Since if one of them is missing, gmapping won't be able to create a map.
