Problem upgrading to next.shadcn-svelte for Svelte-5 support

Hi,

As per the title I'm upgrading an app to use next.shadcn-svelte for Svelte-5 support
I've followed the steps in the migrate doc
and I run into an error on the step to upgrade bits-ui
npm install bits-ui@next

I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this so that I can continue with the migration.

The error is as follows :

npm ERR! Cannot read properties of null (reading 'edgesOut')

I get a similar problem when running
npm install bits-ui@latest

Solved using:
pnpm install bits-ui@next

I always assumed npm & pnpm to be fully compatible.
