As a user transitioning from VLC to Screenbox, I find the absence of familiar keyboard shortcuts challenging. Specifically, the shortcuts for adjusting playback speed ([ to decrease and ] to increase), changing subtitles (V), toggling subtitles on/off (Shift + V), and capturing a snapshot of the current frame are not present in Screenbox. This inconsistency affects the fluidity of my viewing experience.
Describe the solution you'd like
I propose integrating these specific keyboard shortcuts into Screenbox:
[ to decrease playback speed
] to increase playback speed
V to cycle through available subtitles
Shift + V to toggle subtitles on and off
Some relevant shortcut to capture a snapshot of the current frame
Implementing these shortcuts would enhance usability for users familiar with VLC.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The only way to do these tasks right now is to scroll to the available option using cursor, and clicking there, which is pretty inconvenient when you're watching the video.
Additional context
I have attempted to use these shortcuts in the current version of Screenbox, but they do not function as they do in VLC. Incorporating them would streamline the transition for users switching from VLC and improve the overall user experience.

Thanks for the link.
Is there any way you can include a keyboard shortcut to capture the current timeline frame? In MPV-HC, we can use Alt+I to capture the current frame. I was wondering if this can be implemented in Screenbox too.
It makes this process of screenshots very smooth. It would be a good addition imo.

Next version should've a shortcut to capture a frame.
Check #556, unfortunately it will be similar to the VLC player
