Download and replace RAW with HEIC

I want to be able to download the RAW images from iCloud. Then convert them to HEIC and reupload them back with the same metadata so that I can have on the go access to all my images but taking less space on my phone. Then if I ever need the RAW, I can pull from my NAS.

How do you measure space on the phone and how are you experiencing memory shortage?

iOS has built-in feature to optimize phone storage (for Photos) and I wonder it that is a solution as well.

it's not just about the phone storage. my icloud fills up because of the amount of RAW im capturing. If I can offload the RAW to my NAS, iCloud can be filled with HEIC for quick on the go mobile viewing.
