Xttsv2 finetuning is not the same as we have in idiap-coqui

Hi, I found https://github.com/anhnh2002/XTTSv2-Finetuning-for-New-Languages and it has preliminaries steps for extends vocab but we don't have them in idiap-coqui. Don't we need to do them?
Also, in https://github.com/idiap/coqui-ai-TTS/blob/dev/recipes/ljspeech/xtts_v2/train_gpt_xtts.py I cant see any options for add characters or similar things as we have in VITs. why? how can we have a nice and efficient training for new language using idiap-coqui

Coqui never released any official scripts for adding new languages. But you can of course use the scripts from that repo with our fork. We don't really use XTTS, so adding such scripts here is not a big priority because it would take a lot of time to check that everything works correctly.

Thanks! You mean that train_gpt_xtts.py is part of the R&D theme and has not been officially released in idiap-coqui, right? (Maybe in the near future, it will have better guidance for training...)
