Investigate the overhead of the local folder source implementation

The first implementation of the local folder support crawls the folder every time an image is requested. This might be a relevant disk overhead that has to be investigated.

Especially on hard disks with large wallpaper collections, this might not be acceptable?
Some caching/indexing of the files might be necessary?
