Code of Conduct

Purpose

A primary goal of this project is to be inclusive to the largest number of contributors, with the most varied and diverse backgrounds possible. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all. This code of conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our project and community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

We invite all those who participate in our project to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone.

Open Participation Guidelines

Be Respectful and Inclusive

• Use inclusive language and avoid personal attacks or derogatory language.

• Avoid conflicts of interest and refrain from inappropriate behavior.

• Respect privacy and confidentiality.

Demonstrate Integrity

• Be honest and transparent in your actions.

• Give proper attribution to others' work and ideas.

• Report any violations of this code of conduct.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:

• Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.

• Offensive, derogatory, or discriminatory comments, gestures, or images.

• Personal attacks, insults, or trolling.

• Unwelcome sexual advancements or attention.

• Excessive or unnecessary profanity.

• Disruptive or disrespectful behavior.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness, experience, or become aware of any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it to the project maintainers at [contact email or support channel]. All reports will be reviewed, investigated, and responded to promptly.

In the event of a violation, the project maintainers have the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to issuing warnings, temporarily or permanently banning individuals from the project, or notifying appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Scope and Modifications

This code of conduct applies to all project activities, both online and offline, as well as all project spaces, including but not limited to code repositories, issue trackers, forums, and events.

We reserve the right to modify and update this code of conduct whenever necessary. Changes will be communicated through project channels and will take effect immediately after being published.
